RAMON ESCOBEDO. A Long-Range Recon Patrol soldier who fought in the Vietnam War - a member of the same LRRP unit that Stalker, Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow belonged to. During his time in Vietnam, all Ramon wanted to do was get back home to East L.A. When he was three months away from the end of his tour of duty, Ramon learned that his brother had graduated from basic training. To prevent his brother from being sent to Vietnam, Ramon extended his tour, knowing of the Army's rule that two members of the same family cannot serve in the same war zone. Two weeks later, while patrolling the jungle, his LRRP unit stumbled upon a large group of North Vietnamese soldiers. In the ensuing battle, Ramon was killed along with Dickie Saperstein. Years later, Snake-Eyes and Stalker visited the Vietnam memorial in Washington D.C. to remember their fallen friends, Dickie and Ramon.
