 BRIAN HASSELL. An undercover Cobra agent who worked for the U.S. State Department. Hassell infiltrated the State Department and became a U.S. ambassador. He was to be the U.S. representative in peace talks with the Middle Eastern nation of Al-Alawi, and intended to assassinate Al-Alawi's ambassador. Hassell was escorted to the peace talks by Clutch and Scarlett. After arriving at the peace talks, the Joes learned the truth and were locked away by Hassell. Scarlett broke free and arrived just seconds before she could stop Hassell from shooting the ambassador. To Hassell's surprise, the ambassador got up after being shot and slapped him. He had been wearing a bullet-proof vest.
