ARBCO STAR. The Arbco Star was a sunken freighter that was actually a base for Cobra operations. The Star served as a Cobra base when the G.I. Joe team was tricked into aggravating a fault line. This caused the creation of Cobra Island. The land-locked freighter served for a short time as a base on the island until a more permanent headquarters could be built. The Star served as headquarters for Serpentor's forces during the Cobra civil war. Cobra Commander later buried the freighter under a volcano on the island, trapping many of his enemies inside. The vessel was later reopened, and several bodies were found, though a number of those trapped inside had since escaped.
