 DRAGONFLY. Heavily-armed assault helicopters used by the G.I. Joe team. The Dragonfly XH-1 served the Joe team for many years, primarily while being piloted by Wild Bill. The copter carried a two-man crew, and was armed with a varying payload of Sidewinder missles, anti-tank rockets, and powerful machine guns. Aside from combat missions, the Dragonfly served as a rescue copter and occasionally ferried Hawk back and forth between Joe headquarters and the Pentagon. The copters participated in some of the Joes' biggest operations, including the Battle of Springfield.
