FLIGHT POD. Cobra's jet-propelled one-man flying vehicle, the Flight Pod was nicknamed the "Trubble Bubble" by members of G.I. Joe. The Flight Pod features a clear, domed canopy and can also be operated in a drone reconnaissance mode. It is armed with two Warlock LR-3.8 laser-seeking antitank missiles, a 1XM-97 mini-cannon and a SNK-7 aerial mine.

The Joes first encountered Cobra Flight Pods as part of a large group of Cobra aircraft attacking the October Guard atop a train traveling through Iran. Many years later, a new version of Flight Pod was used by members of The Coil (an offshoot of Cobra serving a revived Serpentor) when attacking a convoy defended by the reinstated G.I. Joe team.
