Snake-Eyes Declassified Panel Comparisons
In 2005, Devil's Due released the Snake-Eyes Declassified mini-series, a detailed look at the life of G.I. Joe's most popular character. While it included a lot of new details, it also showed us scenes originally related as memories in the original Marvel series, in many cases playing tribute to those original scenes.
Issue #1 of the mini-series included variations on scenes from the classic G.I. Joe #26, written and penciled by Larry Hama, and inked by an artist sharing Torpedo's last name, Steve Leialoha. Scenes from the memory of war veteran Wade Collins in G.I. Joe #43 were included, as well.
What follows is a comparison of the most similar panels of art.
