AIRBORNE (Six). The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Robert M. Six, born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He worked with the G.I. Joe team, as parachute assembler and field medic of the Sky Patrol, before it was shut down in 1994. Today, like many Joes, Airborne is a reserve member of the team. He was assigned to G.I. Joe's quick reaction force during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.

This Airborne is a different character than the original 1983 character named Airborne.
