BANZAI. The code name used by U.S. Army Corporal Robert J. Travalino, born in Hartsdale, New York. As a member of the Ninja Force, he worked with the G.I. Joe team before it was shut down in 1994. Master of the nunchaku, he studied in Tibet with a ninja master living in seclusion. Today, like many Joes, Banzai is a reserve member of the G.I. Joe team. He served with other Joes in the Philippines during the conflict known as World War III.
