BARRICADE. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant Philip M. Holsinger, born in Pittsburg, Kansas. Barricade was an urban assault specialist with the G.I. Joe team before it was shut down in 1994. Today, like many Joes, Barricade is a reserve member of of the team. He was assigned to domestic operations in the United States during the conflict known as World War III.
