CROSSFIRE. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Bill White, born on Long Island, New York. Crossfire was interested in how machines were put together from a young age. At eight years old he visited his uncle at Fort Bragg and became fascinated with Army weaponry. After enlisting, Crossfire worked with the reinstated G.I. Joe team. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. Crossfire was stationed in Uzbekistan during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.
