Dr. LINK TALBOT. Lincoln Talbot grew up on a farm in Clarksburg, Massachusetts before enlisting in the U.S. Navy where he served as a SEAL for two tours of duty, reaching the rank of Petty Officer Third Class. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, becoming a vet like two previous generations of his family, and gaining his VMD and PhD. Designated a "combat veterinarian", Link worked with the G.I. Joe team in the past. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. Talbot was serving at Walter Reed Medical Center during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.

Link Talbot played a prominent role in the "Valor vs. Venom" animated movie and toy line. His filecard mentions these events, but since they were not part of any comic book storyline, they are not mentioned here.
