RAMPAGE. The code name used by U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Walter A. McDaniel, born in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Rampage enlisted for basic training at the same time as G.I. Joe member Beach Head, and they served in the same Ranger detachment before he joined the reinstated G.I. Joe team as the Split Fire driver. He fought Cobra in Afghanistan and Bosnia. Rampage insists on repairing and maintaing all his equipment himself, and is an avid reader of comic books. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. Rampage participated in the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.

"Walter McDaniel" is a comic book artist that has worked on box art for Hasbro.
