ROOK. The code name used by U.S. Army Corporal Andy Lombardi, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. As an interrogator, Rook worked with G.I. Joe as part of the small team known as the Steel Brigade. In addition to having the ability to detect lies through observing his subjects, he can also speak fourteen languages. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. During the conflict known as World War III, Rook was assigned to the Coffin, the Joes' arctic prison.
