D-DAY. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant David Brewi, born in Bayshore, New York. Brewi is an expert in heavy artillery and hand-to-hand combat who worked with the G.I. Joe team. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. D-Day served in Algeria during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.

D-Day is a character from the short-lived G.I. Joe toy line, Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles. His only appearance is in the single episode of the toy line's cartoon, which was sold on videotape, packaged with an action figure. The episode reveals the Screaming Eagles to be a unit of the G.I. Joe team.
