Summary:  Zartan's helicopter arrives at the Cobra Consulate carrying the master of disguise, his siblings and the Dreadnoks. On the rooftop helipad, the listening device G.I. Joe planted months earlier is discovered and destroyed. The Joes who had been surveilling the consulate from the sewer beneath Army veteran Sarge's news stand across the street pack up their equipment and leave.

While Zandar and Zarana conduct Cobra's real estate seminar -- "How to Become Filthy Rich from Real Estate without Any Capital or Even Being Moderately Intelligent" -- the Dreadnoks terrorize drivers on the New Jersey turnpike, eventually attacking a convoy of Army transport trucks.

The Dreadnoks head to the abandoned gas station that once served as their hideout, unaware that Cross Country, Law and Order, and Mutt and Junkyard are hidden yards away in the tall grass observing the gas station. Thrasher "smells" something unfriendly nearby, causing Buzzer to drive into the field and find Junkyard, who he slashes at with his chainsaw. An angry Mutt reveals himself and starts a firefight. Cross Country and Thrasher have a rematch in their respective vehicles, leaving Cross Country and his HAVOC the winner, and Thrasher's Thunder Machine a burning wreck. Junkyard's injuries prove not to be lethal, and the Joes take Buzzer, Thrasher and Monkeywrench into custody. The other Dreadnoks escape.
