Summary:  At the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland, Battle Force 2000 members Avalanche, Blocker, Dodger and Knockdown take part in combat simulations against Cobra vehicles piloted by G.I. Joe members. After the exercise, Mutt overhears the group discussing their upcoming assignment to investigate a reported sighting of Dreadnoks in New Jersey. That evening, Mutt invites himself along on the mission, hoping to get some revenge for Buzzer’s attack on Junkyard.

Following another of Zarana’s real estate seminars, the Dreadnoks smash their way through a row of tollbooths on the New Jersey Turnpike on their way to meet the Cobra container ship set to arrive at Broca Beach (last seen in Special Missions #16. Minutes later, Mutt and Battle Force 2000 come upon the tollbooths and hear about the incident. Desperate to reach the Dreadnoks, Mutt forces the Joes’ vehicles through the booths, and they are soon being chased by a contingent of New Jersey State Troopers led by Captain Cohoe. After a brief battle with the Joes, the Dreadnoks reach Broca Beach and hide the newly arrived Cobra personnel and vehicles. Captain Cohoe catches up with the Joes just as Knockdown shoots down Zanzibar’s air skiff, causing it to crash into a police car below. A furious Cohoe then arrests the Joes, Zarana and Zanzibar.
