LIFELINE. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant Greg Scott, born in Spring Valley, New York. Scott worked as paramedic in New York City before joining the military. Lifeline was the second medic to use that name as part of G.I. Joe when he worked with the reinstated team. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. Scott was stationed at the Walter Reed Medical Center during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.
