SPEARHEAD. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant Peter R. Millman. After growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Spearhead went on to become the youngest, most successful insurance salesman in the Pacific Northwest. It was said he could sell a term policy to a dead cow. Everyone liked him, trusted him and bought more insurance from him than they could afford. He later enlisted in the Army, with many wondering if guilt was a factor in joining the Army so he could give something back. He denies it. In the Army he was known as a "point man", the soldier always leading the charge into a fight. Spearhead later joined the G.I. Joe team, and brought his bobcat Max with him. On his first mission, Spearhead joined a team of Joes in the sewers below New York investigating Cobra's tapping into the city's communications systems. He served with the team for the next few years until its shutdown in 1994. The team was reinstated in 2001, and Spearhead later reunited with the Joes in the battle on Cobra Island against the forces of a revived Serpentor.
