 ICE CREAM SOLDIER. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant Tom-Henry Ragan, born in Providence, Rhode Island. He served as "flamethrower commando" for the G.I. Joe team before it was shut down in 1994. In addition to his skills as a soldier, Ice Cream Soldier is also a barbecue chef. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. He was assigned to domestic operations in the United States during the conflict known as World War III.
