HOLLOW POINT. The code name used by U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Max W. Corey, born in Quitman, Arkansas. While working in a safari park, Corey took down an escaped pack of lions with tranquilizer darts in order to save a group of school children, gaining the attention of G.I. Joe. Hollow Point worked with the reinstated G.I. Joe team where he drove the Locust vehicle, and served as a marksmanship instructor. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. Hollow Point was assigned to domestic operations in the United States during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.
