CHAMELEON SWAMP SKIER. A small, one-man water craft sometimes used by Zartan in the swamps around his hideout in the Florida Everglades. The Chameleon sped along the surface of the water on four skis. (GI 25, 28; GIv2 3)

CHRISTINA. A Swedish trawler (fishing boat) based in Karlskrona. The ship was loaned to the G.I. Joe team by the Swedish government so that the Joes could stage a fake undercover rescue mission to recover a downed American submarine in the Baltic Sea. In reality, the mission was a diversion that allowed the Joes to help pick up Captain Bulgakov, a defector from the Soviet navy. (SM 1)
C.L.A.W. A one-man rocket-powered hang glider used by Cobra. The CLAW could also be used as a unmanned drone. The small vehicle carried two Venom missiles and a single Flashfire bomb. The name stands for "Covert Light Aerial Weapon". The Joes first encountered the CLAW when Storm Shadow kidnapped Scarlett while working for Cobra. Storm Shadow later used a CLAW to rescue Cobra Commander from G.I. Joe custody and then let the Commander use it to escape. Cobra agent Tomax used a CLAW to escape from the Joe team at Cobra's illegal oil drilling operation in the Antarctic. (GI 21, 24, 25; SM:A)

CONDOR. A high altitude fighter/bomber used by Cobra. The Condor Z-25's forward fuselage could separate from the rear of the plane, splitting it into two separate aircraft. Its armaments included two electron-pulsating, no thrust air-to-surface missiles, two low-drop terrain-hugging "Smacker" missiles, seven SK-44m wide-concussion , incendiary bombs and dual laser support cannons armed with 3700 laser rounds. Cobra's Aero-Vipers piloted these jets. The Joes first encountered a Condor flying high over the tiny nation of Punta del Mucosa. (GI 92, 97, 100, 103, 115; SM 28)

CONQUEST X-30. A fighter jet used by the G.I. Joe team, the Conquest includes state-of-the-art computer control systems. It was one of the most advanced fighters of its time. It's capable of reaching speeds up to Mach 2.42 and is typically armed with two 20mm Vulcan cannons and 4 laser-guided cluster bombs. The Joe team's designated pilot of the Conquest was Slip-Stream. The fighter first saw action over the war-torn nation of Sierra Gordo and flew in a number of operations. After the Army discontinued widespread use of the fighter jet, surplus vehicles appeared in Europe, where Cobra turned a number of them into Python Patrol vehicles. A small number of Python Conquests were being used by Cobra as recently as 2001. (GI 54, 73, 88; YB 3; SM 5, 12, 16, 27; GIv2 4)

CROSSFIRE. A light, fast ground vehicle used by G.I. Joe, the Crossfire could be remotely-controlled. Its armaments included top-mounted "Pumper" twin 20mm cannons, "Spinner" side- mounted auto-load 9mm cannons and two "Live Wire" SAM-19 missiles. Duke used two remotely-operated Crossfires to distract a force of Cobras invading the Pit in Utah. Hasbro's real Crossfire toy was actually a remote- controlled car. (GI 131)

CUBE-CAM. A tiny device equipped with a 360-degree camera feed. The cube-cam allowed the reinstated Joe team to see into potentially dangerous areas before actually entering them. New cube-cams are being fitted with mechanical legs that will allow them to be remote controlled. (GIv2 7; BF 3)
