GAIJIN. A Japanese communications hijacked by Cobra to control their nano-mites -- microscopic machines that infected both humans and machines.The satellite was taken over when Cobra was briefly under the command of Alexander McCullen, posing as his father Destro. The satellite was eventually accessed by a group of programmers headed up by Mainframe. They eventually hacked into the satellite and used it to deactivate the nano-mites that were injected people and machines all over the United States. (GIv2 2-4)

GHOSTSTRIKER X-16. The Ghoststriker was a highly-advanced fighter jet used by the G.I. Joe team, based on the Navy's F-16 fighter. It could carry an armament of two Sidewinder missiles, four rapid fire Phoenix missiles and carried two anti-aircraft missile launchers. Its cockpit could carry a pilot and co-pilot. Primarily flown by Ace, the Ghoststriker was used in the last months before the Joe team was first shut down. (GI 152, 154, 155)

GYRO-COPTER. Small one-man miniature helicopters used by Cobra. They were essentially helicopter backpacks that included small stabilizer wings armed with laser cannons. The G.I. Joe team first encountered Gyro-Copters while defending the secret military laser installation in New York's Chrysler building. (GI 86)
